Graduates’ salaries with B.Arch and M.Arch degrees show moderate growth

Each year DesignIntelligence conducts a Compensation, Bonus & Benefits Report, which tracks compensation trends among the design professions.

Base compensation (not including bonus) for recent graduates has been increasing steadily since 2012. In the 2018 report, graduates with B.Arch and M.Arch degrees reported the highest-ever annual salaries at $48,727 and $53,175 respectively.

This trend in compensation increases corresponds to architects who have been practicing for over a decade, particularly in the categories of 10-14 years and 15-19 years:
