The Federal Chamber of Architects has created the Architectural Export Network in an effort to help German architects win projects in more markets abroad, such as China, Eastern Europe, and Dubai.

The volume of new construction in Germany decreased 20 percent in 2005’s first quarter, so German architects have been forced to look for work abroad.

The network provides a variety of resources to architects, including panel discussions involving top German architects who provide advice on how to obtain overseas projects.
