Change is good, you go first... "Change is needed, I just hope that I won’t have to give anything up or make any changes to what I do" is a common thought within the A/E/C world. For an industry comprised of architects, interior designers, manufacturers, suppliers and contractors who thrive on innovation, at least for our clients, we tend to resist change, especially when it comes to how we work together. The A/E/C industry is organized around a linear process that fosters professional silos and inhibits the exchange of knowledge and innovative solutions. Innovative delivery models that benefit all the stakeholders are long overdue.
