100 Delegates Selected to Attend the Design Futures Council Leadership Summit on Sustainable Design

The 6th Annual Leadership Summit on Sustainable Design will be held in conjunction with the University of Texas in Austin October 14,15, and 16. This DFC Conference is held annually to inspire change in sustainable design and to form leadership strategies to bring change faster to issues of global health. This year’s Summit is moderated by Phil Enquist of SOM and Chris Luebkeman of ARUP. Speakers include Fritz Steiner, Dean at University of Texas, John Cary, Executive Director at Public Architecture, Richard Saul Wurman, author and information architect and founder of TED Conferences, Greg Franta of the Rocky Mountain Institute, Ted Landsmark of the Boston Architectural College, David Adamson of the Smarter Buildings initiative in the UK, Larry Speck of Page Southerland Page, Dennis Pieprz of Sasaki, Ava Abramowitz of George Washington University, Kurt Culbertson and Doug Parker of Design Workshop, Ralph Hawkins of HKS, Scott Findley of RMJM Hong Kong, RK Stewart of Gensler, Scott Simpson of KlingStubbins, Cecil Steward of Joslyn Institute and others. At the conclusion of the Summit the Delegates will respond to the question “What Changes Now?” and “Next Steps of Leadership by Delegates”. We’ll report the results of this Summit meeting in DesignIntelligence.
